Polo Schedule ...

Dear Players,

The Fall Season is upon us and our tournament schedule is coming together. Spencewood Ranch will be hosting a total of six tournaments from late September through late November, 2008, with the possibility of adding others - schedule permitting. Additionally, due to increased team participation, it is possible that teams will be required to play first bracket games on a Friday afternoon. Please factor that into your scheduling.

In an effort to reduce heavy traffic on Spencewood's main tournament field, we will begin using the new practice field and Dennis Antolik's Manor field for our weekly practices. Austin Polo Club will also host their 2008 Invitational in Manor, the first weekend in November.

Weekly practice games will be Wednesdays at 4:00 pm, beginning September 10th, weather permitting.

Green fees this season will be $600 per player. Make your check out to "Spencewood Ranch," please. Tournament entry fees will need to be paid prior to play. Please count on budgeting a minimum of $100 per player, per tournament. This cost includes umpire fees for your team.

In addition to our regular tournament sponsorship opportunities, we have limited space available for members to advertise their businesses in our Central Texas Polo Magazine. If you, or your friends or colleagues, are interested in placing an ad, please let us know as soon as possible. Rates are good and our distribution is very targeted.
